Email support@merrywrap.shop with your name and the shipping address, and we will resend the details.
\n
What each status means
\n
\n
Merry Wrap order and parcel statuses
\n
\n
\n
Status
\n
What it means
\n
What you should do
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Pending payment
\n
The order was started but the payment has not been confirmed.
\n
Complete the payment or place the order again. Between scans, the page does not change, even though the parcel is moving. That gap can be longer when:
\n
\n
the parcel is crossing from the United States into Canada, Australia or New Zealand and is handed from one carrier to another;
\n
the parcel is waiting for a customs check in the destination country;
\n
carriers are handling the extra volume of the weeks before Christmas;
\n
severe winter weather delays trucks or flights.
\n
\n
A tracking page that has not changed for two or three days is usually nothing to worry about. If it stays the same for 7 business days, contact us as described below.
\n
When a parcel is late or lost
\n
\n
Wait for the trigger. Contact us if tracking has not changed for 7 business days, or if the parcel has not arrived 7 business days after the end of its estimated delivery window.
\n
Email us. Send your order number to support@merrywrap.shop. You do not need to contact the carrier yourself.
\n
We open a trace. We ask the carrier to locate the parcel and keep you updated by email.
\n
We put it right. If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, or the trace has no answer within 5 business days, we prepare and send a replacement free of charge or refund the order in full, as you prefer.
\n
\n
Refunds are sent within 7 days of confirming the claim. Replacements are personalised again from your original order notes, so you do not need to resend the wording unless you want to change it. See our Shipping & Delivery and Refund Policy pages for full details.
\n
When tracking says delivered but the parcel is missing
\n
Parcels are sometimes scanned as delivered a little early, left in a safe place you would not expect, or delivered to a neighbour. Before contacting us, please:
\n
\n
check porches, side doors, garages, mailboxes and parcel lockers;
\n
ask neighbours, building reception or anyone else at the address;
\n
look at the carrier’s tracking page for a delivery photo or a note about where it was left;
\n
wait one more business day in case the scan was early;
\n
check with your local post office.
\n
\n
If it still has not turned up, email us within 60 days of the delivery date. We will open a claim with the carrier and work through it with you.
\n
Tracking a gift sent to someone else
\n
If you shipped a gift straight to a relative or friend, the tracking emails come to you, the buyer, so you can follow the parcel without spoiling the surprise. If the carrier needs the recipient to do something, such as collect the parcel from a depot or pay an import charge in Canada, Australia or New Zealand, it will contact the recipient directly. It is worth giving them a gentle heads-up that a parcel is on the way.
\n
Parcels with more than one tracking number
\n
Larger orders are sometimes packed in more than one box, for example a set of stockings in one parcel and wrapping paper rolls in another. Each parcel gets its own tracking number, and all of them are listed in your shipping email. The parcels may arrive on different days. You never pay anything extra when an order is split.
\n
Damaged on arrival
\n
If a parcel arrives damaged, take photos of the outer box, the shipping label and the damaged item before throwing anything away, and send them to us within 60 days of delivery. We replace or refund the item, usually without needing it back. See our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
\n
What to expect by destination
\n
\n
Typical tracking pattern by country
\n
\n
\n
Destination
\n
Transit estimate
\n
What tracking usually looks like
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
United States
\n
7–14 business days
\n
Regular scans between facilities, then out for delivery and delivered.
\n
\n
\n
Canada
\n
7–14 business days
\n
Scans in the US, a quieter period while the parcel crosses the border, then scans from the Canadian carrier.
\n
\n
\n
Australia
\n
7–14 business days
\n
Scans in the US, an international flight with few updates, customs processing, then local delivery scans.
\n
\n
\n
New Zealand
\n
7–14 business days
\n
Similar to Australia: export scans, a long quiet stretch in the air and through customs, then local delivery scans.
\n
\n
\n
\n
When a parcel changes carrier at a border, the tracking number sometimes changes too, or the original number starts showing the new carrier’s updates after a delay. If the link in your email stops updating after the parcel leaves the United States, try entering the same number on the local postal service’s website, or email us and we will check.
\n
When the parcel arrives
\n
Before you put everything under the tree, take a minute to check the order. It is much easier to fix a problem in November than on Christmas Eve.
\n
\n
Open the box carefully and keep the packaging until you have checked every item.
\n
Compare each item with your order confirmation: right product, right option, right quantity.
\n
Read every name and date against your order notes, especially on ornaments and stockings.
\n
Unroll the first few inches of each paper roll to check the print, then roll it back up.
\n
If anything is damaged, missing or different from your order notes, photograph it and email us within 60 days of delivery.
\n
\n
Tracking questions we hear in December
\n
My tracking says “label created” but nothing else
\n
The label is created when the parcel is packed, and the first carrier scan follows when it is collected. It can take 24 to 48 hours for that first scan to appear. If there is still no scan after 5 business days, email us.
\n
Can I change the delivery address now that it has shipped?
\n
We can ask the carrier to redirect the parcel, but carriers do not always accept redirects. Some carriers also let the recipient choose a pickup point from the tracking page. If the parcel comes back to us, we reship it once you confirm the address.
\n
Can you speed up a parcel that is already in transit?
\n
No. Once the parcel is with the carrier, its speed depends on the carrier’s network. We do not offer paid express shipping, and we will never promise a delivery date we cannot control.
\n
The tracking page shows a different country or city than I expected
\n
Parcels often pass through sorting hubs far from both the sender and the recipient, and international parcels may show an airport or an export facility. That is normal. Watch for the scans that show the parcel in the destination country, then in the local delivery area.
\n
I ordered on the same day as my partner. Will our parcels arrive together?
\n
Not necessarily. Separate orders are prepared and shipped separately, each with its own tracking number, and may travel on different days.
\n
Do I need to be home to receive the parcel?
\n
That depends on the carrier and the destination. Many parcels are left in a safe place; some need a signature or are taken to a nearby pickup point if nobody is home. The carrier’s tracking page shows what happened and any next steps.
\n
Need help with tracking?
\n
Email support@merrywrap.shop with your order number, or use Submit a Ticket and choose “Where is my order?”.
