What Merry Wrap is about
The name says most of it. “Merry” is the greeting that opens the season; “Wrap” is the paper, the ribbon and the moment just before a gift is opened. The idea behind the shop is simple: the gifts people remember are rarely the most expensive ones. They are the ones that were clearly meant for them. A child spotting her own name repeated across every present under the tree. A couple hanging an ornament with their names and the year they spent their first Christmas together. A row of stockings on the mantel with room for the dog, too.
So everything we sell carries something personal. Our tagline, “Wrapped in their name”, is a description rather than a slogan: the name goes on the gift before the bow does.
We focus on a short list of things and try to do them well: paper, ornaments, stockings and the sets that combine them. Keeping the range focused means every product page can tell you clearly what options exist, how the personalisation fits, and what to expect when the parcel arrives.
What we make
Custom wrapping paper
Our paper repeats a name, a family name or a short greeting across a festive pattern: plaids, pine sprigs, snowflakes, candy canes, cosy cabins. It means every present already says who it is for, so nobody has to hunt for a gift tag on Christmas morning. Rolls come in the sizes and finishes listed on each product page, so you can choose a longer roll for a big family or a shorter one for a single person’s pile.
Personalised ornaments
Ornaments are the gift that comes back every December. Ours carry a name and a year, a short line or a pair of names, in round, star, heart and bell shapes. They mark the moments people want to remember: a baby’s first Christmas, a first home, a first Christmas together, a pet joining the family, or a loved one being remembered.
Name stockings
A stocking with a name on the cuff turns a mantel into a family portrait. We offer styles such as plush cuffs, knit-look and burlap-look stockings, so a whole household can match, or each person can have their own look. Pets get stockings too.
Festive gift sets
Sets pair pieces that belong together, such as paper with a matching ornament or a stocking with an ornament in the same design, so the whole gift looks considered from the wrapping to the tree.
Every order is personalised after you place it, using the wording you write at checkout, and then packed and shipped free from the USA.
How personalisation works
We kept it deliberately simple. There is no design tool to learn and no account to create. You add the items you want to your cart, and at checkout you type the wording for each one in the order notes box, one line per item:
- “Paper: The Millers”
- “Ornament 1: Ava 2026”
- “Ornament 2: Leo 2026”
- “Stocking: Biscuit”
If a design uses a photo, write “photo by email” in the note and send the picture to support@merrywrap.shop with your order number. We use your wording exactly as written, including spelling and capital letters. We do not send a proof or mockup before production; that keeps orders moving in the busiest weeks of the year, and it is why we give you 24 hours after ordering to change anything. If something still ends up wrong, the 60-day return policy covers it.
What we check on every order
Before a personalised piece is made, we read the order note against the items in the cart. If an item has no wording, the wording is too long to fit clearly, or a photo mentioned in the note has not arrived, we pause the order and email you rather than guessing. Once an item is made, we check that the wording matches your note, that the print is clean and the piece is undamaged, and that everything in the order is in the parcel. Ornaments are wrapped so they do not move in the box, and paper rolls are packed so their ends are protected. If something slips through anyway, we fix it: a remake, a replacement or a refund, whichever you prefer.

What we do not do
Some things are as important as the promises. We do not show invented reviews, star ratings, countdown timers or “only 2 left” messages. We do not put other companies’ logos, team names or cartoon characters on our gifts. We do not claim our products are made somewhere they are not: our orders ship from the USA, and that is all we say about it. We do not display payment logos for options that are not available at checkout. And we do not hide fees: shipping is free, return postage is free, and we do not add sales tax at checkout.
Who we make gifts for
Most of our customers are buying for someone else: parents filling stockings, grandparents sending gifts across a border, partners marking a first Christmas, friends who want to remember a pet. Planning your holiday order
Because every gift is made after you order, a little planning helps. Order the whole list at once so everything travels together, put wrapping paper at the top since the other gifts need it, and allow the full 8–17 business days from order to delivery, plus weekends. If a gift must arrive by a particular day, email us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether the current estimate fits. Choosing the right gift
If you are not sure where to start, these pairings are a good rule of thumb, based on the questions customers ask us most often:
- For a household with young children: a stocking for each child plus a roll of paper that repeats every child’s name. Children love finding their own name on the presents, and the stockings come out again every year.
- For a new baby: a first-Christmas ornament with the baby’s name and the year. It is small, it travels well, and it becomes the first piece in a collection that grows with the child.
- For a couple: a heart ornament with both names and the year, or a pair of matching stockings for a first Christmas in a shared home.
- For grandparents far away: a gift set with the family name, shipped straight to their address, with your own email on the order so tracking comes to you.
- For a friend who lost a pet this year: an ornament with the pet’s name and years, a gentle way to say you remember.
- For teachers, coaches and neighbours: small ornaments from Stocking Stuffers, each with a first name and a short greeting.
Keeping your gifts for years
Personalised decorations are meant to come out of the box again next December, so a little care goes a long way. Store unused wrapping paper rolled, never folded, in a dry cupboard away from sunlight so the colours stay crisp. Wrap ornaments individually in tissue and keep them in a sturdy box with dividers, away from attic heat. Empty stockings completely before packing them away and fold them flat so the cuff keeps its shape. When the season comes round again, take ornaments out by their edges and hang them on branches strong enough to hold them. Keep stockings, paper and ornaments away from candles, fireplaces and heaters, and out of reach of small children and pets who might chew ribbons or hooks.
If something you bought from us breaks or shows a fault within 60 days of delivery, tell us and we will put it right. After that, we are still happy to help you reorder a matching piece, for example a new ornament for a child who has joined the family, so the set on your tree stays complete.
Where we ship and what it costs
We sell to four countries: the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Every order ships from the USA, and shipping is free to all four, with no minimum spend and no code needed. Prices are in US dollars, and we do not collect sales tax at checkout. For parcels to Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the destination country may charge import duties or fees when the parcel arrives; those are set by that country and paid by the recipient if they apply.
